How to Build a Better Brain

It's tough to find the best way to making a child smarter: with flashy toys, expensive classes and music compilations all promising to make your child smarter, it's hard to sort out the best way to help your child's brain thrive. But a new policy paper helps put those worries to rest saying that what kids need is a secure relationship with adults who adore them in order to build a better brain for their child.


 Video Games: Medicine for the body

The FAS(Federation of American Scientists) of Brown University will present an educational game called, "Immune Attack" at a Health Conference at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Immune Attack is a new generation video game that engages students and teaches complex biology and immunology topics in a manner different from the traditional classroom approach. The goal is to immerse the student in immunology concepts to make learning fun and exciting. A teenager played the game and result in exploring biologically accurate and visually detailed settings in pursuit of this goal.
